I provide 1:1 ADHD Coaching for adults (aged 18).
Although I have experience supporting teenagers below 18 with ADHD and Autism, I do not currently provide 1:1 coaching services to this age group.
Coaching can be beneficial for parents of teenagers with ADHD to understand and support them effectively.
To enquire about this, or any other non-core service offer coaching, and/or awareness training support email: [email protected].
No, you don't need to have an ADHD diagnosis to start ADHD Coaching. ADHD Coaching can also benefit people who are awaiting or still considering an ADHD diagnosis or are self-diagnosed.
I am not a qualified therapist, therapy is outside of the scope of my professional practice. We may initially briefly discuss your background and what brought you to coaching to understand how your ADHD shows up in your life. However, we will not keep going over the past, ADHD Coaching focuses primarily on the present, and your future.
Yes. All S10 ADHD Coaching sessions are held online via zoom.
Coaching sessions usually last 60 minutes. Shorter 45 minute sessions are available if specially requested.
Your coaching journey begins with a 60 minute Strategy Call. This gives us time to explore where you are now, what you're experiencing, the challenges you're facing, what you need and what you'd like to be different.
We'll also explore your goals, strengths, what's already working and what matters to you. From there, we'll agree a direction and focus for your future coaching sessions.
You don't need to have everything worked out before you come. That's what the conversation is for.
That's something we'll decide together based on what works best for you.
Sessions can be weekly, fortnightly or monthly. For most people, fortnightly coaching will provide a useful balance between having support and having time to reflect, experiment and put things into practice between sessions.
The frequency can also change as your needs change.
No.
I don't believe coaching needs to follow a rigid programme. We can start with an initial block of sessions, review how things are going, and decide together whether you'd like to continue.
You might decide that three sessions are enough. You might want six, eight, ten or twelve. You might take a break and come back later.
The aim is for you to feel increasingly able to trust yourself and make choices that work for you - not to become dependent on coaching.
No.
My role isn't to give you another list of things you should be doing.
We'll explore what's happening for you, understand your ADHD and your individual needs, identify what's getting in the way and experiment with approaches that make sense for you.
I'll offer perspective, challenge you when it might be helpful and support you to find your own answers.
No.
ADHD can affect many different areas of life, and coaching can explore whatever is most important to you.
That might include organisation, focus, routines or getting started. It might also involve confidence, self-belief, relationships, boundaries, career, work, decision-making, overwhelm or reconnecting with what you actually want from your life.
We'll start with you, rather than a predetermined list of ADHD strategies.
Many people come to coaching having already tried lots of things.
The issue isn't necessarily that you haven't found the right planner, app or system. Sometimes the more important question is why the things you've tried haven't worked for you.
Coaching gives us space to explore your individual experience, understand the barriers you're facing and work out what genuinely fits your needs, strengths, circumstances and values.
Yes. Work can be an important part of coaching if that's where you're experiencing challenges or where you'd like to make changes.
My professional background means I understand both the individual experience of ADHD and the workplace environment in which those challenges can arise.
We can explore things such as performance, communication, confidence, boundaries, career aspirations, workplace barriers and adjustments, depending on what you need.
If you have an Access to Work award that includes ADHD coaching, we can discuss how this could work for you.
Access to Work-funded coaching is charged at a different session rate to reflect the additional administration, invoicing and payment arrangements involved.
We can talk through the practicalities when you get in touch.
That's completely okay.
You don't need to know exactly what you need before you contact me.
A conversation gives us an opportunity to talk about what's happening for you, what you're hoping to change, and whether my approach feels like the right fit.
There is no pressure to continue.
